


• To expand the ownership and use of Heavy Horses in the Isle of Man.
• To encourage any person who has an interest in Heavy Horses.
• To provide practical assistance and encouragement to younger persons to show and work with Heavy Horses.
• Liaise with the show committees to improve and expand the Heavy Horse element in the shows.
• Liaise with various Government Departments on matters of health, welfare, transportation and promote the use of Heavy Horses.
• To encourage the young handlers to compete both here on the Island, and in other countries.
• To assist members and non-members with Heavy Horse related matters.

The Society holds meetings and social events throughout the year. Everyone with an interest in Heavy Horses is welcome - you don’t even have to be a horse owner!

Current membership fees (payable each year) are:
Junior membership (under 18 years old) - £2
Single membership (adult) - £5
Family membership - £10
Or alternatively:
Individual life membership - £50
